We first had him out to inspect some tall fir trees close to the house for safety/risk of falling. After his initial assessment, he recommended an additional arborist come out for additional evaluation. Together, these assessments made us feel significantly more secure about the state of our trees as newer homeowners. We had John's team back to do a tree removal and trimming of dead branches in the firs, and a follow up visit for substantial hedge trimming (neglected hedge was running into the power lines >15 ft high) at a discounted rate. The team is dedicated to doing good work, informed by years of experience among the different team members, and just generally friendly people that were easy to check in with throughout the projects. And considering the 3-person crew, amount of time, and size of the projects, it seems to be a great price for the area. John and his crew has been the absolute best for tree delimbing, topping, thinning/windsailing, general brush clearing and firewood services. If you want a local guy who does it right and cleans up after himself you only need to look here. They even give tentative quotes via text and email! 2026 update, had John back out here and he crushed it again. Just use this company again last month and they did an excellent job with a fair price on my tree in the front yard which is a very large Maple. THIS BUSINESS IS NOT CERTIFIED ARBORIST. Terrible service, and even worse tree cutting. Estimate was fine, reasonable price, but "John D" the tree cutter, gave my wife serious disrespectful attitude and raised voice. Definite chip on his shoulder, this guy should not work with the public. He cut our alder so badly that when we had an actual arborist come out the following week to try and help, the first words out of their mouth was, "Who hacked up this tree?" I really wish I could give this company six stars — if not, at least five stars plus. Their service was absolutely excellent, and I am extremely satisfied. Last Friday afternoon, a large tree from outside my fence fell into my yard without any warning. I quickly contacted several tree removal companies for quotes. When I reached out to Arbor Services Northwest LLC, they told me they could come the same evening to assess the situation and provide an estimate, and then schedule the removal for the following Monday. I expressed my hope to get it done as soon as possible, because I was worried that people from outside the fence could easily walk into my yard via the fallen tree, posing a security risk. They immediately said they could come the next morning (Saturday) to remove the tree. I was overjoyed by this news. Sure enough, they acted very quickly and removed the tree on Saturday morning. Later, I asked Jonathan, "Why did a large tree suddenly fall down without any warning on a day with good weather?" He provided a professional analysis of the possible reasons, and I was truly impressed. They not only removed the tree but also have such deep expertise — it turns out I found the right people! Not only that, but Jonathan also made an extra trip to the site at my request to take some photos of the tree roots. These photos clearly show why the tree suddenly collapsed, and that means a lot to me! Throughout our communication, I found him to be friendly, natural, and easy to talk to. John has been trimming our trees for years and I can’t imagine having anyone else do the work we need. He’s precise, has very reasonable prices, smart, and extremely skilled. His team is amazing. I can’t recommend enough. My business had a great experience with John and team. They removed a large 70ft cedar that was growing into the gutter/roof of my rental, located in a very tight space between two buildings in town.
